Crescend Technologies, LLC announced today that, due to its growing requirements for larger engineering and manufacturing space to meet the needs of their customers, they have relocated to 140 E State Parkway in Schaumburg Il.

"Due to our continued growth in the land mobile industry and our ever increasing presence in the Broadcast, Paging, Medical, Avionics and Military markets, it became necessary for us to expand our engineering and manufacturing staffs. To properly accommodate these teams and their state of the art equipment we needed to establish larger design and manufacturing facilities. We are all very excited because our new facility will allow us to continue our tradition of designing and manufacturing the highest quality amplifiers for our current and future customers while assuring industry leading customer support and service.” said Crescend’s President Jim Hougo

SCHAUMBURG, IL - Crescend Technologies recently announced the C5 power amplifier designed to work with the new digital RF technologies being developed by land mobile radio manufacturers.

“It is clear that the land mobile industry is rapidly developing and adopting digital technologies for their current and future radio system designs. As such, when our engineering design team was tasked to develop our advanced C5 amplifier it was a requirement that we have a digital version to work with recently announced TDMA and FDMA communications systems. Our engineers exceeded our expectations by designing the C5 to work with analog and digital with no changes to the amplifier. This means is that our customers are assured the same industry-leading quality, reliability and performance whether operating the C5 in analog or digital systems. In addition, as they migrate their current analog systems to digital systems Crescend amplifiers will transfer with them at no additional time or cost.” stated Crescend Technologies’ VP of engineering, Mark Obermann.

Crescend's C5 amplifiers come standard with a three year warranty and are available in VHF/UHF/700/800/900 MHz bands. All Crescend amplifiers are designed and manufactured at their headquarters facility in Schaumburg Illinois.
