Crescend Technologies Announces its
C5 Analog/Digital Power Amplifier

SCHAUMBURG, IL –May 9, 2007- Crescend Technologies recently announced the C5 power amplifier designed to work with the new digital RF technologies being developed by land mobile radio manufacturers.

“It is clear that the land mobile industry is rapidly developing and adopting digital technologies for their current and future radio system designs. As such, when our engineering design team was tasked to develop our advanced C5 amplifier it was a requirement that we have a digital version to work with recently announced TDMA and FDMA communications systems. Our engineers exceeded our expectations by designing the C5 to work with analog and digital with no changes to the amplifier. This means is that our customers are assured the same industry-leading quality, reliability and performance whether operating the C5 in analog or digital systems. In addition, as they migrate their current analog systems to digital systems Crescend amplifiers will transfer with them at no additional time or cost.” stated Crescend Technologies’ VP of engineering, Mark Obermann.

Crescend's C5 amplifiers come standard with a three year warranty and are available in VHF/UHF/700/800/900 MHz bands. All Crescend amplifiers are designed and manufactured at their headquarters facility in Schaumburg Illinois.
