Crescend Technologies was established over 28 years ago as VoCom,  a manufacturer of high-power amplifiers fo the VHF, UHF and 700/800/900 RF frequency bands. In 1995 the company came under new ownership with a vision to “design, build and optimize amplifier quality using leading edge technologies while providing world class support and service to our customers”. In line with achieving this vision, we acquired Powerwave's (Milcom) SMR and paging amplifier lines in 1999, hired and developed an outstanding staff of RF amplifier engineers, production, quality and customer support staff. With all of these advances, it only seemed natural that the company should have a new vibrant name, and in 2001 we became Crescend Technologies, LLC. |

As Crescend continued to grow through the design and manufacture of extremely high quality amplifiers and to better serve our customers, we moved to a larger facility in Schaumburg , Illinois, in 2003. As we have continued to grow through development of specialized RF amplifiers for markets such as Broadcast, Military, Medical, Avionics and more we have recently moved into an even larger more modern facility.
